The apartment renovation was done in a 19th century apartment building in old centre of Barcelona. The concept was to design a modern functional apartment but to conserve and restore some of the various historical layer found in the building. In some spaces we found old ceiling painting from the mid-19th century, which were restored, and in some spaces were left with the ceiling from the 1920ties. The floor is a collage of new wood floor and traditional tile areas.
